Job summary

ACHIEVE is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager to lead daily operations, train staff, and support residents with daily living tasks in a residential program. The role requires supervising DSP staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring safety and policy compliance in crisis situations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with two years of experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and direct staff on shift and report issues as needed.
• Provide training and assistance to residents in personal care and independent living skills.
• Develop and coordinate social/recreational activities for residents.
• Supervise residents in IRA and community settings as appropriate.
• Provide money management training and oversee resident personal allowances.
• Intervene in crises following agency policy and provide first aid when needed.
• Ensure medication administration steps are followed and documented.
• Oversee residents' diet and nutritional needs.
• Provide transportation or access to transportation as needed.
• Accompany residents to medical appointments and complete follow-up documentation.
• Clean the IRA and its contents as instructed by supervision.
• Act as role model and participate in on-call coverage and emergencies.
