Job summary

Advocates is seeking an Assistant Program Manager in Paxton, IL to supervise residents and Direct Care Staff and help manage schedules, appointments, and daily house operations under the Program Manager. You will participate in residents' daily care, coordinate documentation with staff, and help ensure program goals and regulatory paperwork are completed timely.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and complete tasks independently.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to an insured vehicle to transport clients.
  • Strongly prefer candidates with understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively identify goals and objectives with program participants. Actively participate in in-service planning meetings and development of individualized goals. Assist with writing service plans and ensure implementation and successful follow through. Assist program participants with taking medications and with community living skills.
