Job summary

Advocates is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to supervise residents and Direct Care Staff, coordinate schedules, and support daily house operations under the Program Manager. The role includes medication assistance, skill-building, and documentation to meet funder requirements.

Second shift (3pm-11pm) on Tuesday through Saturday, with a starting rate of $20.25/hour. Strong communication, organization, and cultural competency preferred. Advocate for residents’ independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or one year of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and complete tasks independently.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to transport clients.
• Preference for candidates with experience serving culturally diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively identify goals and objectives with program participants.
• Assist with writing service plans and ensure implementation.
• Assist participants with medications and daily living skills.
• Support development of independence in directing support and healthcare management.
• Report changes in participant status to Supervisors.
• Complete documentation and incident reports per funder requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate program activities.
