Job summary

Avinahc is seeking a Move-In Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for new residents and their families, guiding them from deposit to settled move-in. You will coordinate paperwork, tours, and coordination with maintenance and nursing to ensure a smooth transition.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate's or bachelor's preferred), strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with office or database software; experience in assisted living or healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in assisted living, supportive living, long-term care, or healthcare admissions.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and basic proficiency in office or database software.

Responsibilities

• Resident Support: Guide families through admission paperwork, medical information gathering, and move-in checklists.
• Apartment/Unit Preparation: Inspect units, coordinate cleaning or refurbishing, and work with maintenance teams.
• Sales and Marketing Support: Assist by giving property tours, answering phone inquiries, and processing resident data into management software like Yardi.
• Cross-Department Communication: Share special resident requirements, care needs, and move schedules with nursing, dietary, and operational staff.
