Avina of Milwaukee is seeking a Move-In Coordinator to act as the primary contact for incoming residents and their families, guiding them from deposit to full settlement. The role involves coordinating unit readiness, handling move-in paperwork, and supporting the marketing team with tours and inquiries.

You will collaborate with nursing, dietary, and operations staff to relay special resident requirements and move schedules, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in assisted living, supportive living, long-term care, or healthcare admissions.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and basic proficiency in office or database software.

Responsibilities

• Guide families through admission paperwork, medical information gathering, and move-in checklists.
• Inspect units, coordinate cleaning or refurbishing, and work with maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready.
• Assist the marketing team by giving property tours, answering phone inquiries, and processing resident data into management software like Yardi.
• Share special resident requirements, care needs, and move schedules with nursing, dietary, and operational staff.
