Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living seeks a Resident Experience Director to oversee the Activities Department, creating an engaging social environment for residents. You will manage budgets, schedule programs, and train staff to deliver diverse activities that align with residents' interests.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication with residents, families, and the care team. Excellent program coordination and collaboration with health services are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred in healthcare, social work or gerontology.
• 2 years experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting.
• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and display monthly calendar of events aligned with resident interests and current standards.
• Provide seven-days-a-week activities programming with active, social environment.
• Develop and maintain a Plan of Programs addressing resident needs, including outings and cognitive activities.
• Establish Ambassador program to engage residents and orient new arrivals.
• Coordinate with health services to implement a Better Health program.
• Supervise Community Programming staff, including hiring and evaluation.
• Assist with training staff and maintaining training records.
• Foster community relationships and coordinate with outside groups for programs.
