Job summary

Sonida Senior Living in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to engage residents across independent, assisted living and memory care communities. The role focuses on enhancing quality of life through organized activities and person-centered plans.

You will collaborate with residents, families and staff to provide meaningful recreation, while upholding rights, safety, and compliance with guidelines. Training and ongoing education are provided.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous.
• Ensure that residents are free from abuse (physicals, verbal and sexual).
• Supports resident independent recreation, based on individual preferences.
• Ensures the residents' right to make personal choices in agreement with the residents' service plan.
• Attends all in-service education programs mandated by SSL, State and Federal guidelines.
