Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support the Resident Lifestyle Director by designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active seniors. You will promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well‑being through engaging programming.

Responsibilities include leading group activities, assisting with outings and events, and helping with a monthly newsletter. A high school diploma and comfort with Word/Excel/Outlook are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with seniors or in activity programming is preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead or assist with social, educational, indoor, and outdoor activities, including events.
• Coordinate the monthly newsletter and document participation outcomes.
• Assist in decorating for special events, holidays, and seasonal celebrations.
• Support external trip coordination and ensure resident safety during outings.
