Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in creating and coordinating daily activities that promote residents' physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will engage residents in individual and group settings, lead a variety of activities, assist with newsletters, and help coordinate outings while ensuring safety and dignity for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months experience with seniors preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead social, religious, educational, indoor, and outdoor activities.
• Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art and music, outings, and events.
• Support the coordination of the monthly newsletter.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes when required.
• Review goals and progress notes.
• Assist in decorating for events, holidays, and seasonal celebrations.
• Support coordination of external trips and ensure resident safety during outings.
• Assist the Resident Lifestyle Director as necessary.
