Job summary

Cogir USA seeks a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents, promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities include group and individual engagements, assisting with events, and aiding in the monthly newsletter. Candidates should have 6–12 months of senior activity experience and strong computer skills, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of relevant experience working with seniors or similar activities.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Excellent communication skills and a respectful, dignified approach to residents.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing and organized.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities and outings.
• Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art and music, trips and events.
• Support monthly newsletter coordination and documentation of outcomes.
