Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for handling service requests and upkeep across the community. You will work with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and deliver outstanding resident experiences.

The role involves preventative maintenance, preparing vacant apartments for move-in, and assisting with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and safety checks. A strong customer service focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience in an apartment setting is preferred.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance skills including HVAC, plumbing and electrical basics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
• Maintain community appearance and perform light maintenance tasks.
• Log service activity and make-readies in Onesite system.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and other tasks as required.
