Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests for our community with a focus on safety, reliability, and resident satisfaction.

You will perform preventative maintenance, make-readies, groundskeeping, pool upkeep, and essential repairs, responding to resident needs promptly and professionally. You will coordinate with supervisors, document activities in the property system, and adhere to schedules including weekends or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills as it relates to apartment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and all other systems at the community.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
• Maintain community appearance and perform light repairs.
• Record service activities in Onesite accurately.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and notices as needed.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
