Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Colorado community. You will respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare vacant units for move‑in while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

The role requires basic maintenance experience, EPA certification preferred, high school diploma, and ability to work a varied schedule including weekends. Pay is $23–$25 per hour plus potential bonuses, health benefits, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience in apartment settings.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification desired.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification preferred.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems.
• Handle tile work, carpentry, and make-ready tasks.
• Own transportation and valid driver's license required for certain communities.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as required.
• Maintain community appearance and perform light repairs.
• Record service activity in Onesite and document make-readies.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
