Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests for our apartment communities in Raleigh, NC. You will work with the maintenance team to complete tasks, prepare move-in ready units, and keep the property safe and welcoming for residents and guests.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, plus strong customer service skills and reliability. A flexible schedule and on-site presence at the community are expected.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct issues with supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain community appearance by replacing lightbulbs, removing trash, painting, and repairs.
• Document service work in Onesite for requests, maintenance, and make-readies.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, notices, and inspections.
