Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance service requests at our community. You will be customer focused, a team player and take pride in the work, including make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include responding to requests, coordinating with the supervisor, delivering excellent resident service, and performing basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience preferred in apartment communities.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from a trade school desired.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety issues and report or correct them.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic electrical/plumbing work as required.
• Assist with make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance and other tasks as needed.
• Accurately complete records in Onesite regarding service requests and make-readies.
