Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and improve the value of our apartment communities. The role emphasizes resident focus, teamwork and strong technical aptitude as you perform repairs, routine maintenance and safety tasks across the property.

The ideal candidate will have at least a year of maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II preferred, and be able to work a rotating on-call schedule while maintaining curb appeal and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience preferred in apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and promptly.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors and supervisors.
• Assist with move-in/move-out and turn events.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manuals.
• Maintain records and assist with exterior property upkeep.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• Address complaints and resolve issues professionally.
