Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle a range of upkeep and repair tasks across an apartment community. You will address service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety standards.

You’ll work with a maintenance team to uphold quality, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction while contributing to budgeted maintenance programs and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certifications preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems at community.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs promptly.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors and supervisors.
• Assist with move-in/move-out process and maintenance-related turn events.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and common spaces.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
