Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of tasks across our apartment communities. You will handle routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests to protect property value and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing/electrical troubleshooting skills, and a valid EPA certification if possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and timely.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards with residents and staff.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and safety practices.
• Address complaints and resolve issues in a timely, professional fashion.
• Assist with move-in/move-out tasks and maintenance-related turn events.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain records and contribute to upkeep of office and common areas.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
