Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks at an assigned apartment community. You will ensure repairs are completed timely, support preventative maintenance, and maintain a safe, clean work area while delivering strong resident service.

The role requires 1+ year maintenance experience (apartment experience preferred), EPA Type I/II certification preferred, and willingness to work an on-call rotation within 30 miles of the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property and accommodate rotating on-call.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and promptly.
• Assist with inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies at appropriate levels.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Follow safety policies and keep work areas organized and clean.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, vendors and supervisors.
• Support adherence to budget guidelines and preventative programs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and community features as required.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with move-ins/outs and maintenance-related turn events.
• Maintain records and contribute to upkeep of offices and common areas.
