Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across assigned apartment communities. The role emphasizes resident service, safety, and preventative maintenance to uphold property value and curb appeal.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in maintenance, strong troubleshooting in HVAC/plumbing/electrical, and the ability to work varied schedules and weekends. Local residency within 30 miles is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment communities.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule and varied hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and promptly.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors and supervisors.
• Perform pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Support move-in/move-out tasks and maintenance turn events.
