Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive leasing, marketing and positive resident relations within our communities. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, process applications in Yardi Voyager, and coordinate move-ins while delivering exceptional customer service.

Strong communication skills, the ability to close sales, and a flexible schedule (evenings/weekends) are highly valued. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in serving diverse residents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual English & Spanish highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Greet and qualify prospects, record visits, inspect models, demonstrate features, close the sale, help with applications and deposits, update availability, and renewals follow-up.
• Administrative: Accept rental payments, type leases, input information in Yardi, maintain resident files, issue notices, track commissions, support the management team, enforce community policies.
• Resident Retention: Manage resident requests, coordinate maintenance, communicate with residents, and assist in planning resident events; ensure service requests are followed up.
• Adherence to Rules: Conduct business per policies, Fair Housing, and ADA; assist in compliance file maintenance.
