Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations at our communities in the United States. The role emphasizes professionalism, engagement with residents and staff, and collaborative relationships with partners and vendors.

Successful candidates will have 2+ years in sales or customer relations, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and be proficient with Yardi Voyager. Flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends is possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is highly desired.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, Internet, and Email.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community and apartment/model features and close the sale.
• Have the prospect complete the application and collect a deposit per policy and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approvals.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close and refer to sister communities if needed.
• Secure new resident signatures and orient new residents to the community.
• Assist in renewals; distribute and follow up on renewal notices.
• Type leases and input information into Yardi accurately.
• Maintain current resident files and distribute notices.
• Maintain monthly lease/renewal commission records for bonuses.
• Support management with other tasks as required.
• Uphold community policies and guidelines.
