Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to lease, market, and maintain positive resident relations within the community. The role requires welcoming prospects, qualifying visitors, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins.

You will work with a team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage administrative tasks in Yardi, and support renewals. A fast-paced environment, flexible schedule, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual English and Spanish highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service and greet/qualify prospects.
• Record visits on guest cards and coordinate applications for approvals.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Close sales by presenting features/benefits and guiding applicants through the process.
• Prepare lease paperwork, deposits, and move-in readiness.
• Update availability, renewals, and notices; monitor renewals.
• Assist management with various tasks and enforce community policies.
• Handle resident questions and resolve concerns with proactive follow-up.
