Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate with residents about apartment care.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.
• Maintain knowledge of Hawthorn Senior Living Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Clean resident apartments according to Hawthorn guidelines and schedule (vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, kitchenette, linens).
• Clean community common areas (carpets, mopping, dusting, restrooms).
• Greet residents, take meal orders, serve meals, assist with opening packages and delivering meals.
• Set tables, bus dining room, clean tables and chairs, and prepare for next meals.
• Maintain food handlers permit as necessary.
