Job summary

DSI Real Estate Group seeks a dedicated Community Apartment Manager for our East Side Madison residential community. You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee leasing, and cultivate tenant relations to ensure a positive living experience for residents.

In this role you will manage occupancy, coordinate with vendors, assist with budgeting and market studies, and maintain strong communication with tenants and partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3–5 years of property management experience.
• Experience with a multi-building apartment complex preferred.
• Proven customer service track record and reliability.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word; Rent Manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operations and administrative management of the community.
• Oversee leasing process, tours, applications, leases and move-ins.
• Manage occupancy and tenant retention strategies.
• Deliver excellent service in interactions with residents, vendors, staff and colleagues.
• Provide prompt responses to inquiries and maintenance requests.
• Maintain lead management and availability reports.
• Develop community relationships with local businesses for tenant benefits.
• Conduct quarterly market studies to adjust rental and renewal rates as needed.
• Assist customers and vendors to maintain timely communication.
• Administer move-out, renewal or eviction procedures per standards.
• Inspect common areas, building systems, landscape; document and schedule repairs.
• Review contracts and obtain bids; prepare annual budgets with corporate.
• Review and approve invoicing; monitor monthly financial position; collect rent.
