Job summary

Avanath is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Spring District/The Briar in Bellevue, WA. The role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, leasing, marketing, and reporting, ensuring positive resident relations and compliance with Fair Housing and LIHTC programs.

The incumbent will handle rent processing, deposits, and collections while coordinating with property staff. Strong communication, organization, and Yardi Voyager experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program Knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing laws.
• Strong interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
• Proficient computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, email.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operational duties of the Community Manager (reporting, rent processing, leasing, marketing).
• Oversee community and associates in the Community Manager’s absence.
• Manage resident relations, respond to questions and address service issues promptly.
• Assist with leasing duties, including tours of prospective residents.
• Handle property income, deposits, and delinquency follow-up.
• Support Monthly Projection Reporting and property inspections.
• Coordinate with Community Manager and Regional Manager on performance.
