Avanath Capital is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in operating a multifamily community in Bellevue, WA. You will handle leasing, rent processing, reporting, and marketing while supervising staff in the manager’s absence.

You will maintain resident relations, enforce Fair Housing guidelines, and ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely rent collections. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Formación

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program Knowledge required.
• Equipped with excellent communication skills and an unmatched dedication to customer service.
• Solid track record of bookkeeping and rent collection.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law.
• Strong Understanding of Fair Housing Laws.
• Superior interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature, flexible.
• Resourceful and organized.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsabilidades

• Provides A+ customer service at all times.
• Manages resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and requests promptly.
• Functions as a resource center for residents on community-living topics affecting rent payments.
• Organizes and executes resident appreciation and retention events.
• Maintains confidential files for each resident.
• Answers phones, greets walk-ins, and handles foot traffic.
• Assists with leasing duties, including touring prospective residents.
• Handles property monies: rents, deposits, and other income.
• Reviews resident files to determine fees and communicate about balances.
• Assists with monthly projections, inspections, and make-readies.
• Meets with Community Manager and Regional Manager to discuss performance.
• Oversees operations and staff in Community Manager’s absence.
• Supports Leasing Consultants while ensuring Fair Housing guidelines.
