Job summary

Neighborly Communities seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support daily property operations and leasing efforts. This role focuses on delivering excellent resident service, maintaining on-site operations, and assisting the Community Manager with financial and reporting tasks.

You will work closely with maintenance, leasing, and accounting teams to ensure compliance with fair housing laws and organizational policies, while fostering a customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of property management experience.
• LIHTC compliance preferred if affordable housing property.
• Fair Housing certification required.
• Proficient with property management platforms and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with administration, improvement, maintenance, and general operations of Neighborly Communities properties.
• Maintain understanding of Fair Housing Regulations and ensure adherence.
• Resolve operational and resident issues promptly and professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors.
• Support in compiling reports such as performance standards, asset management, budget, and delinquency figures.
• Collaborate with Accounting on finalizing statements and reconciliations.
• Assist in lease expirations, renewals, market surveys, census reports, screenings, and move-ins/outs.
