Job summary

Neighborly Communities is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily property operations and resident services. The role reports to the Community Manager and emphasizes on-site availability, customer service, and collaboration with maintenance and leasing teams.

The position requires at least one year of property management experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines; LIHTC and Fair Housing certifications are valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of Property Management experience.
  • LIHTC compliance preferred for affordable housing properties.
  • Fair Housing certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Community Manager with administration, maintenance, and operations of Neighborly Communities properties.
  • Maintain understanding and adherence to Fair Housing regulations.
  • Resolve operational and resident issues and provide exceptional service.
  • Support on-site attendance and assist in reporting (performance, asset, budget, delinquencies).
  • Coordinate with Accounting on final statements and monthly tasks as assigned.
  • Utilize property management platforms and contribute to lease processing and renewals.
