Job summary

AG Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multi-family property. You will drive leasing activity, supervise a management team, and ensure resident satisfaction through proactive service and effective communication.

You will partner with maintenance, leasing, and finance teams to meet occupancy and budget goals, while ensuring compliance with fair housing laws and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Apply creative sales strategies to motivate leasing consultants and achieve occupancy goals.
• Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop a highly skilled team.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the property management team.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective property operations.
• Assist in leasing activities, including property tours, application processing, and lease execution.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing needs and concerns promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking to achieve property financial goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Provide administrative assistance, including lease document preparation and background checks.
• Support rent collection, track delinquencies, and coordinate lease renewals.
• Contribute to marketing efforts by creating and promoting property-specific materials and social media updates.
• Participate in outreach activities to attract potential residents and maintain high occupancy rates.
• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure high-quality services and timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with property management policies, fair housing laws, and relevant regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in property management laws and regulations.
