Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. in Tampa, FL, is seeking a dedicated Resident Manager to oversee a portfolio of single-family homes.

You will cultivate strong resident relationships, promptly address inquiries, drive lease renewals, and process moves through the tenant lifecycle. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in property operations or management, a real estate license, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related experience in Property Operations/Management.
• Real Estate License and state permits required to engage in property management.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive relationships with residents in your assigned portfolio.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, striving for swift resolution.
• Drive lease renewals and execute new leases within the market.
• Conduct move-out reconciliation, assess damages, and determine resident charges.
• Implement collection strategies to minimize evictions and delinquencies.
• Represent the company at eviction hearings and monitor HOA compliance.
• Adhere to all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures.
