Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, LP is seeking a Senior Resident Manager to lead resident relations and oversee daily operations of single-family rental properties within a District. You will implement the operational strategy set by District leadership and ensure accountability for resident operations goals.

The role may involve overseeing Resident Managers, supporting roles, and driving profitability through rental growth while mitigating repairs and turnover costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Management or related field preferred.
• Real Estate License and any permits/certifications per State required to engage in property management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for resident relations within the District.
• Oversee day-to-day operations with Resident Managers and support roles.
• Drive residency retention and minimize delinquencies.
• Manage portfolio profitability and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate moves, evictions, and resolution of escalated resident issues.
