Avenue5 Residential in Missouri seeks a friendly Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals, while delivering outstanding service to prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and retention.

You will use Yardi Voyager and MS Office to maintain records, schedule tours, process paperwork, and support property management. The role emphasizes empathy, scheduling, and organization in a fast-paced environment with a driver license.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.
• Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and retention.
• Qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation and move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are touring-ready and orient residents to the property.
• Process renewal paperwork and maintain accurate traffic records.
• Follow up with prospective residents via phone, mail or email and schedule tours.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance.
• Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure daily open/close procedures.
• Assist with clerical tasks and plan resident activities to boost retention.
