Job summary

The Mrm Residential Mcc Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee staff in the Community Manager’s absence and work with the Leasing Office team to maximize occupancy and rent collection. This role provides excellent service to residents, future residents, and vendors while handling bookkeeping and administrative tasks.

You will assist in marketing, budget processes, move-in/out inspections, renewal leases, and ensure compliance with housing laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of sales/leasing experience or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum two years administrative/management experience or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directives with minimal supervision.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive interaction with residents, employees, vendors, and the public.
• Proficient math in rate, ratio, percent; ability to interpret charts.
• Strong follow-up, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
• Technical capacity including property management applications; MS Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of ILM (CRM) for leasing activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff in the Community Manager’s absence and assist Leasing Office team to maximize occupancy and rent collections.
• Maintain resident accounts, deposits, and resident ledgers; assist in marketing and budget processes.
• Assist with move-in/out inspections, renewals, and delinquency follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with leasing policies and Fair Housing laws; respond to resident concerns and complaints.
• Coordinate with maintenance and security; monitor tenancy issues and document incidents.
