Job summary

RPM Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections and evictions, and promote resident satisfaction and property visibility through effective communication and social media.

The role requires coordinating with the Community Manager, assisting with move-ins/outs, and maintaining accurate records in property management software while upholding Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Background in accounting combined with customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software. Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Keep an updated availability report, process applications (including credit checks and rental history verification), submit them for approval, and follow up with applicants.
• Show apartments and close sale, prepare them for move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, send renewal notices, handle move-outs, apply fees, and keep data updated in software.
