Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager at one of our award-winning apartment communities in Montgomery, AL. You will support leasing, resident relations, and day-to-day financial tasks, while partnering with the Community Manager to ensure smooth operations and a thriving community.

Key responsibilities include tours, lease administration, rent collection, delinquencies, and team leadership in the manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months experience as Assistant Community Manager preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CALP accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing efforts by conducting tours, responding to leads, and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Ensure lease applications and renewals are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee rent collection, posting, and delinquencies; support financial reporting.
• Step in as leader in the Community Manager’s absence and maintain team momentum.
• Maintain a welcoming office and promote resident events and engagement.
