Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations, leasing, and resident relations across a multifamily community. You will collaborate closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth leasing processes and outstanding resident service.

Qualifications

• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months of assistant community manager experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CALP accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours, respond to leads, and guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Ensure lease applications, renewals and related documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee rent collection, delinquencies, and payment posting; coordinate evictions as needed.
• Conduct regular ledger reviews and assist with financial reporting for Community Manager and regional leadership.
• Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager; maintain team momentum.
• Respond to resident concerns with professionalism and empathy; support a positive work environment.
