Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Concierge to support residents and families across communities, delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves tours, answering questions about amenities, and coordinating programs to enhance residents’ well-being.

You will be scheduled across communities as needed and must maintain confidentiality, uphold safety, and assist with administrative tasks related to customer service. A strong hospitality mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Regular worksite attendance.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years in a customer-service focused role; hospitality preferred.
• Must be customer focused and friendly.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.
• Must be able to meet health requirements per state regulations.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds to a 3 foot height and carry 4 feet.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, overhead lifting.
• Must relate to ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and hostile individuals.
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics to fulfill duties.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Assist with administrative and business functions as they relate to customer service; support the Activities Director with transportation or other duties.
• Assure all residents are respected and their needs are met promptly.
• Ensure residents are safe and the building is secure, especially in evenings and on weekends.
• Serve as a backup to other areas providing services to residents as directed by management.
• Interact with potential residents and families, including guided tours and answering questions about amenities.
• Help coordinate programs that enhance residents’ lives and wellbeing.
• Assist Executive Director with duties and events that promote residents’ well-being.
