Job summary

MAA is seeking a Resident Experience Specialist in Texas to support residents and the property team. You will handle move-in/move-out inspections, orientations, and coordinate service requests to promote satisfaction and retention.

You will interact with residents through phone, online platforms, and CRM; assist with tours, vendor coordination, and community events, while upholding MAA's core values and standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service and/or administrative support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or leasing experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-walk inspections of units prior to move-in and performs move-in/move-out inspections using SightPlan.
• Procures and prepares personalized move-in gifts for new residents and facilitates move-in orientation.
• Documents and responds to resident questions via phone, online platforms, and CRM while escalating concerns to on-site management.
• Develops knowledge of community aspects, amenities, and features; handles roommate additions/releases during the lease term.
• Processes notices to vacate and provides move-out packets; monitors and follows up on service requests, including IT and gate access troubleshooting.
• Coordinates with vendors for package delivery, pest control, and make-ready processes; assists with self-guided tours and walk-ins when needed.
• Ensures setup and presentation of mini-models/show units for tours; partners with on-site teams to uphold curb appeal and make-ready quality.
• Monitors lease-authoring tools and other systems for compliance; processes applications not handled by centralized team.
• Leads resident engagement initiatives and manages the community calendar; plans on-site outreach activities and manages online reputation.
• Develops knowledge of local markets and competitors and maintains AI knowledge bases for centralized support.
