Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations, including leasing, reporting, and overseeing staff in the Community Manager’s absence. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, proficiency with rent collection, and familiarity with LIHTC programs.

Responsibilities span resident relations, fiduciary duties, and compliance with housing laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service and resident relations.
• Manage rent collections, deposits, and accounting records.
• Assist with leasing duties and resident tours.
• Support property operations and staff in Community Manager’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and other regulations.
