Avanath is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support operations across leasing, reporting, rent processing, and marketing for our communities. The role emphasizes professional engagement with residents and workforce teams to ensure a high standard of service.

Ideal candidates will have LIHTC knowledge, solid bookkeeping, and a strong grasp of Fair Housing laws, with proficiency in Windows, Excel and Yardi Voyager. Join a team focused on integrity, growth, and community impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and a dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing Laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional resident relations and customer service at all times.
• Manage rental processing, reporting, and leasing duties.
• Assist with monthly projections and property-level financials.
• Oversee staff in Community Manager’s absence and support leasing consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and other regulations.
• Maintain organized and confidential resident files.
