Job summary

Avanath is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee one or more rental communities in Stockton, CA, ensuring satisfaction and financial performance for residents and owners. The role emphasizes professional engagement, collaboration with partners, and strong leadership across teams.

The incumbent will drive resident services, budget accuracy, and timely reporting while maintaining compliance with applicable housing regulations.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Proven ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns without escalation.
• Proven leadership experience and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with senior executives and manage time under constraints.
• Professional presentation and appearance; proficient with Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident relations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals.
• Ensure 0% rent delinquency and timely financial reports.
• Coordinate operations, vendor relationships, and compliance matters.
• Lead and develop onsite staff; promote teamwork and inclusivity.
