The ideal candidate will manage move-ins/outs, handle resident relations, and drive lease-up efforts at new developments, leveraging LIHTC knowledge and a proactive, service-oriented approach to maintain exemplary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager
• Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns, avoiding escalation
• Proven effective and efficient leadership experience
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications required
• Experience with lease-up properties strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior executives
• Ability to work well under time and other constraints
• Professional presentation and appearance
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and email

Responsibilities

• Manage resident relations and ensure a positive life-cycle experience from move-in to move-out
• Implement systems for services and prompt resolution of complaints
• Advocate for residents by communicating concerns to senior leadership
• Oversee on-site operations including budget, compliance, vendor relations and rent collections
• Lead a high-performing team through feedback, training, and development
• Coordinate capital projects and cross-department communication
• Prepare monthly financial reports and operating budgets
• Maintain curb appeal and adherence to policies and regulations
• Respond to housing violations and liaise with regional management
