Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee a community, drive resident satisfaction, and manage budgets and operations. You will lead staff, coordinate vendor relations, and ensure compliance with housing laws while delivering strong financial results.

The role emphasizes community-building, effective communication with residents and executives, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns, avoiding escalation.
• Proven effective and efficient leadership experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior executives.
• Ability to work well under time and other constraints.
• Professional presentation and appearance
• Familiarity and ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and email

Responsibilities

• Resident relations and customer service leadership throughout the resident life-cycle.
• Manage budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals to drive financial health.
• Prepare monthly financials and reports, and coordinate with Regional Manager on budget planning.
• Oversee staff performance, training, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA and applicable regulations.
• Act as liaison between residents, owners, and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
