Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S seeks a Resident Engineer to oversee complex construction projects from start to finish in the Water US, Construction Management Division. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, apply standard engineering and construction techniques, and adapt designs as required, ensuring compliance with contract documents throughout the project lifecycle.

You will bring a degree or technical certification plus 4+ years in engineering, with the ability to balance technical accuracy and cost

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical school certification in science, math, architecture, computing, technical drafting or other relevant technical curriculum, and 4+ years of qualifying engineering experience working in the engineering/design field.
• Ability to make decisions affecting the cost and performance of the work.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge from engineering/construction management education to analyze engineering concepts of a project.
• Oversee construction personnel to ensure procedures, methods and materials follow contract documents.
• Ensure project components meet engineering requirements per contract documents.
• Perform engineering calculations throughout the project to determine pump performance, concrete mechanics, pipeline hydraulics, and electrical adequacy.
• Prepare cash flow calculations from a critical path schedule and schedule of values for budgeting and progress monitoring.
