Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee construction management and engineering for Water US, Construction Management Division. You will apply standard construction techniques, collaborate with project teams, and exercise independent judgment to adapt designs.

The role supports development across the Mid-Atlantic, New York City, and the Northeast, with three levels of Resident Engineers based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification and 4+ years of qualifying engineering experience in engineering/design.
• Ability to make decisions affecting cost and performance of the work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering concepts of a project using degree knowledge.
• Oversee construction personnel to ensure procedures, methods and materials follow contract documents.
• Ensure components meet engineering requirements in contract documents.
• Perform engineering calculations for pump performance, concrete, hydraulics and electrical adequacy.
• Prepare cash flow calculations from critical path schedule and schedule of values.
