Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Electrical Resident Engineer to oversee construction-related projects within the Water U.S. Construction Management Division. You will apply engineering concepts, supervise field personnel, and ensure contract compliance from design through commissioning.

Strong collaboration with stakeholders and travel readiness are essential. Ideal candidates have a degree in electrical engineering or related field, an EIT certificate, and 4+ years of experience in engineering/design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, 4+ years of qualifying engineering experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; build and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
• General understanding of electrical regulations, standards, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the engineering concepts of a project to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Oversee construction personnel to ensure procedures follow contract documents and report non-conformances.
• Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, submittals, RFI responses, and change management.
• Perform engineering calculations for pump performance, concrete mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical adequacy.
• Assist in commissioning activities for equipment and electrical systems and witness startup tests.
