Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Resident Engineer for the Water US, Construction Management Division to oversee construction projects from start to finish, applying standard techniques and making design adaptations as needed. You will collaborate with project stakeholders and lead a team to ensure contract compliance and successful delivery.

The role requires an engineering or construction management background with the ability to evaluate and modify plans, perform critical calculations, and manage cash

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification and 4+ years of qualifying engineering experience in engineering/design.
• Ability to make decisions affecting the cost and performance of the work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction personnel to ensure procedures, methods and materials follow contract documents.
• Direct Construction Superintendents, Project Managers, Foremen to comply with contract documents.
• Apply engineering concepts to ensure components meet contract requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations for pump performance, concrete mechanics, pipeline hydraulics, electrical adequacy.
• Prepare cash flow calculations from critical path schedule and schedule of values for budgeting and tracking progress.
