Job summary

PACS Group in the United States (Oregon) seeks a Social Services Coordinator to assist in planning, organizing, and directing social service programs for residents. You will work with administration and health staff to implement policies and ensure residents’ social and emotional needs are addressed.

The role involves developing procedures, coordinating resources, and reporting progress while maintaining confidentiality of resident information and coordinating with community agencies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist Social Service Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing social service programs.
• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff and related departments for planning social services.
• Develop, administer and coordinate department policies and procedures.
• Review policies annually and suggest changes.
• Coordinate social service activities with other departments.
