Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager in Portland, OR, to oversee daily operations, leasing, and client relations. You will drive resident satisfaction, manage budgets, and lead a small team, ensuring compliance with property guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of property management experience, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and familiarity with Salesforce.com or Yardi Voyager. A housing discount is included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• One to two years of direct management experience is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention, lease administration, rent collection and delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, and hire staff; provide coaching and development.
• Lead with a shared vision and coach associates to perform at their best.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with residents and corporate office.
• Maintain knowledge through workshops and publications; build networks.
• Organize site disaster and evacuation plans; manage safety records and claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
